El Atletico Benidorm CD se salvó ‘in extremis’ del descenso la pasada campaña. Con la necesidad de arrancar un nuevo proyecto que les permita dar continuidad a su periplo en Preferente con más calma, el cuadro benidormense posee un nuevo propietario (Philadelphia Fury) que trae una gran cantidad de novedades al Guillermo Amor, entre las que destaca un renovado cuerpo técnico y una nueva plantilla.
Cuerpo técnico
El cuerpo técnico del Atletico Benidorm CD estará encabezado por el entrenador Javier Subirats. Leyenda del Valencia, Subirats ha entrenado en equipos como el CD Buñol y CD Eldense antes de recalar en el equipo benidormense. Junto a Subirats actuará como segundo entrenador David Gascón, además de hacer las veces de preparador físico.
Completan el cuerpo técnico el utillero Pedro Bañón, el belga Denis Yvon como entrenador de porteros y el británico Stephen Nash como fisioterapeuta del club
Plantilla muy joven y de calidad
El Atletico Benidorm CD ha decidido apostar por la juventud para conseguir sus objetivos a final de temporada, además de firmar a jugadores con experiencia en la máxima categoría del fútbol regional para “aleccionar” a sus jóvenes futbolistas.
