Welcome Giorgi
We are delighted to announce the recent signing of talented young left-back Giorgi Jinjolava
Giorgi was previously playing for FC Saburtalo, current champions of the Georgian National League and brings a wealth of experience despite his young age. Earlier this year he tasted football at the highest level, playing in the UEFA Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb - Giorgi was substituted on in the 69th minute and made a solid contribution against the Champions League veterans.
He has also been capped by his country at U21 level, adding international experience to his European games.
This will be Giorgi's first experience of playing outside of Georgia, we would like to welcome him and are looking forward to seeing him in the Benidorm CD team. Hopefully, he will be able to use his experience to bring a welcome boost to the defense during the coming season.
This is another statement of intent from Benidorm CD and alongside the appointment of new manager Javier Subirats and several other new signings shows the direction the club is looking to take.
