Discover the template of the new Benidorm CD by Javier Subirats
The Benidorm CD was saved ‘in extremis’ from the decline last season. With the need to start a new project that allows them to continue their journey in Preferente more calmly, the Benidormense team has a new owner (Philadelphia Fury) that brings a lot of news to Guillermo Amor, among which a renewed technical staff and a new template.
Coaching staff
The technical team of Benidorm CD will be headed by coach Javier Subirats. Legend of Valencia, Subirats has trained in teams such as CD Buñol and CD Eldense before joining the Benidormense team. Together with Subirats he will act as second coach David Gascón, in addition to acting as a physical trainer.
The technical staff is completed by the utillero Pedro Bañón -to the left in the cover photo-, the Belgian Denis Yvon as goalkeeper coach -the second from the right- and the British Stephen Nash as the club's physiotherapist -to the right in the photo of cover.
Very young and quality staff
The Benidorm CD has decided to bet on youth to achieve their goals at the end of the season, in addition to signing players with experience in the highest category of regional football to “educate” their young players. In the goal is Dani Vaello, former Pego who has gone through teams like CF Gandia, UD Benigànim or CD Jávea, among others.
Three different nationalities in the city behind
Vaello's competition in the goal of Guillermo Amor will be the Brazilian Victor, just 21 years old, who will make his debut in the Valencian Regional Preferred this season. In defense is Álvaro and Morales, two 20-year-old defenders who will make their senior debut with the Benidorm CD. There is also Yahya, a 25-year-old British defender who stands out for his speed and good handling of the ball.
The Gonzalo plant also arrives at the Benidorm CD. With 38 years, he has experience in Second B with the Ontinyent and the Yeclano Deportivo. He also went through Alicante CF, CFI Alicante and CD Almoradí, among others. The Colombian Nico closes the defense, who at 23 will give much to talk in the Benidormense team.
